The following terms and conditions apply to all of the courses that we offer.

By engaging in any of our courses you understand that we do not teach clinical care nor do we provide any medical advice. It is your responsibility how you or your clients navigate their medical care. We only offer holistic information about pregnancy and birth as well as evidence based information in order to assist in making informed decisions. This is NOT a midwifery course nor do we have a governing body.

Our services provide general information for interest only and does not replace official advice. Whilst every effort has been made to ensure the content is accurate, Artemis Birth Attendant Academy (ABAA) accepts no liability of responsibility for any loss or damage caused or thought to be caused, by making choices based upon the contents of this site/courses/ services and recommends that you use it in conjunction with other trusted sources. By engaging in any of our courses you acknowledge the above mentioned.

Terms and Conditions for Distance Learning Course by ABAA

ABAA provides an online distance learning course for its customers. Including (but not limited to) the Artemis Birth Attendant Academy One Year Course

The course is designed to provide education and training to customers on specific topics.

The course materials will be provided to the customer through email or a password-protected online portal.

The customer must have access to the internet and the necessary software to access the course materials.

The course fee must be paid in full before entry to the directory or certificates are issued.

Any payment plans arranged through Kandoo are subject to their terms and conditions.

If the customer wishes to cancel the course, they must do so within two weeks of purchasing the course (in line with trading standards) and must not have accessed the course materials.

After two weeks from purchasing the course, no cancellation refunds will be provided.

The customer is responsible for completing the course within the allotted time period as specified by ABAA.

ABAA reserves the right to cancel the course at any time due to unforeseen circumstances. If this occurs, a full refund will be provided to the customer.

ABAA is not responsible for any technical difficulties or problems that the customer may encounter while accessing the course materials.

No discounts are applicable with payment plans.

Refunds Policy – (30 day guarantee)

At Artemis Birth Attendant Academy LTD (ABAA), we are committed to providing high-quality courses and ensuring customer satisfaction. We offer a 30-day money back guarantee on all our courses. However, please note that our terms and conditions for refund eligibility are designed to protect the integrity of our offerings and ensure a fair process for both the customer and our academy. Please read the following terms carefully:

Eligibility Period:

a. The 30-day money back guarantee starts from the date of course enrolment.

b. Any refund request made after the 30-day period will not be considered.

Completion Requirements:

a. To be eligible for a refund, you must have completed the first 4 modules of the course in full within the 30-day period.

b. Completion is determined by marking all lessons and assignments within these modules as completed in our learning management system.

Reason for Refund:

a. You must provide a valid reason for the refund request.

b. The reason should be related to significant technical issues, severe misrepresentation in the course description, or a failure on our part to deliver the promised course material.

c. General dissatisfaction, change of mind, or lack of time commitment will not be considered as valid reasons for a refund.

Proof of Effort:

a. You must provide extensive evidence of your sincere effort and engagement with the course material.

b. This may include submitting completed assignments, participation in discussion forums, or any other demonstrable proof of your commitment to learning.

Refund Evaluation:

a. All refund requests will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

b. We reserve the right to assess the validity of the reasons provided and the supporting evidence before approving a refund.

c. Our decision regarding the refund eligibility is final and binding.

Processing Time:

a. The refund process may take up to 60 days from the date of your refund request.

b. Refunds will be issued using the original payment method.

We ensure that all personal data we collect is relevant, adequate, accurate and kept up to date. We respect the rights of individuals to access, correct, delete, and restrict the processing of their personal data. We also provide individuals with the right to object to the processing of their personal data, and the right to data portability.
